Lines Through Connections is a collection of wearables exploring the use of natural dyes. Tiffany Wei started her interested in finding sustainable fashion and coloring methods that could help combat the environmental impacts of synthetic dyes. For the dyes, she used red cabbage and logwood to produce a range of purples and blues. In the design I tried to incorporate the same materials in the set design, as well as finding a flower that represents each garment. Each a creature emerging from the depths of harmony, mother earth, and floralscape seen here. Trying to keep as ground as possible in the leveling of the design.
