Rudy Pankow for Cero Magazine

Set Design by Chris Wooden, Jennifer Montes de Oca, and Joyce Tang

This shoot was such a lovely experience to be part of. I really got to connect with a lot of newfound friends such as Alec, Chris, and Joyce and we really collaborated on making this rubberband ball a reality. The rubberband ball signifies tension and builds character. In a way this ball relieved our inner awkward tensions and got us all really close within the two weeks it took to build this ball. One large ball, one small ball, and a stretched out rubberband wall install. Originally the idea was to make the rubberband ball 6ft but due to budget costs we ended up doing 4ft. However turned out really well and light enough to be held by actor and model Rudy Pankow. The 4ft ball and the smaller rubberband ball took 1 afternoon to produce.
