Zulia - “Cinetosis” Music Video

For Zulia’s Cinetosis music video, I collaborated with a talented team in coming up with the creative direction. Each department bringing their all. Especially working with the director and production designer of the team to create an elevated stage experience for Zulia’s first music video. Zulia’s a Latin Grammy winner for writing for Bad Bunny’s song “Un Verano Sin Ti” begins his career front and center in a stage of microphones and pop like balloons.
Concept
This concept joined in collaboration between director David Herrera, artist Zulia, producer Robert Gatica, and production designer Kim Cartagena. The concept derived from minimalist art inspired into prop making and set designs. Props acting as playful sets for beginning artist Zulia to really show his artistry. Execution
Director David Herrera, production designer Kim Cartagena and myself followed the project through to the very end. Ensuring the final cut, color, and scenic were all up to expectation and delivered to the client, label, and artist on time. Unfortunately, due to budget and timing constraints, we were only about to do 3 of the 6 options presented in the original scenic deck.
